Rdegrie vs. Pollux (round V) … The end
au fait… j'avais un peu oublié de vous tenir au courant de la fin du match avec Royce… Alors voilà :
Scores:
5 - 8 - 8 - 7 - 9 = 37
8 - 8 - 9 - 5 - 6 = 36
Powerful imagery, gritty realism and neither player afraid to court public opinion with their use of controversial events and social issues. Very nice work, both of you.

7 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 7 = 38
8 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 7 = 42
wow what an emotional battle... there sure was some skills in this battle but where this one kicked ass was its story telling... pollux I feel just edged out rdegrie with stronger concepts and close to flawless execution... I love it time and thought was actually spent on this battle... this is what caging is all about

7 - 8 - 10 - 6 - 6 = 37
9 - 7 - 8 - 6 - 6 = 36
This was a great battle. In its early stages, it was astounding. Moving and inspired imagery. I haven't much to say on the subject matter. You tackled something big. On the first six blows, my only criticism is with the usual assorted small problems that brought the scores down from solid tens. Nothing major. 1:1 leaned a little too far toward "design," and away from what, imo, the cage is really about, 2:2 was a little cluttered, and so on.
But something happened in Round 4. There was a disappointing slump in image quality. Suddenly it just wasn't mind-blowing any more, which was too bad.
Still, Rounds 1, 2, and 3 were exceptional. Bravo!
